Job summary

NTT DATA Romania is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to drive design, development, and evolution of modern web applications. You’ll contribute across the full stack with Python, FastAPI, React, and TypeScript while delivering high-quality, scalable software.

You will work through the full SDLC, build robust backend services, develop responsive frontend components, and collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL, and relational database design.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Git, automated testing, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Develop robust backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build modern frontend components using React and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend with backend, databases, and external systems.
• Work with MariaDB and PostgreSQL, optimize schemas and queries.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability; implement logging and security controls.
• Write clean, well-structured code and maintain automated tests.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to documentation.
