Job summary

First Roles is seeking a Business Analyst I for a 7+ month contract. The role is remote with preference for candidates near Oakland, CA; Cerritos, CA; Alpharetta, GA; Rancho Cordova, CA; Blue Ash, OH.

You will analyze data, gather requirements, and support policies and procedures for system enhancements. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience, plus strong communication and MS Office/Google Workspace proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training or experience.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; Google Workspace.
• Experience with process and data-driven analysis.
• Ability to work PST hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support through research, data gathering, interpretation, and reporting.
• Develop and document business requirements and case scenarios for new or enhanced systems.
• Analyze data to identify trends or issues.
• Develop plans and proposals to address issues.
• Manage project plans from planning through testing and implementation.
• Prepare written reports and presentations summarizing objectives, analysis and recommendations.
