Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Entry-Level Architectural Designer to join our remote team. You will support the design and development of projects, collaborating with experienced architects to create innovative solutions that meet client needs.

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in the USA. You will assist with drawings, plans, renderings, and presentations, coordinate with MEP and structural teams, and help ensure codes and sustainability practices are integrated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts and building systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; US residency or citizenship required.
• Internship or academic project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainable design or LEED preferred.
• Familiarity with 3D rendering tools like Lumion/Enscape/V-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, plans, and renderings using design software.
• Collaborate on project concepts, development, and revisions.
• Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Prepare presentations, models, and visualizations to communicate design concepts.
• Coordinate with structural and MEP disciplines for project integration.
• Support the project team in maintaining timelines and delivering high-quality work.
