Job summary

Simera seeks a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. The role requires understanding of basic accounting principles, strong numerical skills, and proficiency with Excel/Sheets and accounting software.

You will assist with AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting, and participate in month-end close while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and basic accounting software.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.

Responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions.
• Assist with AP/AR activities and invoicing.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit cards, and accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and account summaries as needed.
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
