Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or operational accounting experience.
• Experience in a remote, fast-paced business environment where priorities shift quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Organize and maintain accounting records, financial documentation, and company files.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to help ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with Federal Excise Tax (FET) filings and payment preparation.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other day-to-day accounting activities.
• Help prepare information needed for month-end close and other recurring accounting processes.
• Maintain accurate records within QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Excel-based reporting.
• Support month-end close activities and other operational accounting initiatives as the company grows
