Simera-talent is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records from a remote setup in the San Francisco area. The role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to assist with financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and general accounting activities.

You will handle daily transactions, assist with AP/AR, invoicing, month-end close, and prepare

Qualifications

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, or financial management platforms.
Knowledge of AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.

Responsibilities

Record and process daily financial transactions accurately.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Prepare, review, and process invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts.
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial reports, account summaries, and spreadsheets.
