Job summary

The Alaska Court System seeks a Chambers Judicial Assistant 2 to support the Superior Court in Utqiagvik from Anchorage with comprehensive remote assistance and regular travel. You will manage the judge’s calendar, prepare court documents, and serve as primary contact while ensuring efficient operations across remote and in-person settings.

The role involves frequent travel initially, with a shift to quarterly travel over time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative assistant experience.
• Ability to keyboard at least 40 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and distribute judicial correspondence, orders, judgments, and other court documents.
• Manage the judge's calendar, meetings, travel, and appointments.
• Serve as primary point of contact for calls and visitors with professionalism and discretion.
• Provide remote administrative and operational support to the Utqiagvik court from Anchorage.
