The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and SQL, along with a solid understanding of modern software development practices. This is a remote position with Canada-focused eligibility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot & Spring Framework.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices & REST APIs.
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and JUnit.
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum and SDLC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Build and enhance Spring Boot-based Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Work with relational databases and optimize SQL queries.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment, and application modernization initiatives.
