Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a Java Development & CI/CD Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead senior- level technical work supporting a federal program. You will provide architectural guidance for Java applications, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices across enterprise environments.

This full-time remote role requires 10+ years in software engineering, extensive Java expertise, and ability to influence government stakeholders and multiple Scrum teams. Clearable to Public Trust and U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IT or related field.
10+ years of professional software engineering/DevOps experience.
Extensive Java development experience in enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical authority for Java development and CI/CD architecture.
Guide enterprise CI/CD pipelines and secure software delivery practices.
Design, evaluate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
Identify technical gaps, bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities across pipelines.
Establish engineering best practices for code, tests, and releases.
Provide security-focused guidance within DevSecOps throughout SDLC.
Troubleshoot complex build, integration, and deployment issues.
Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders to align solutions.
Lead assessments and document implementation strategies for improvements.
