Alignerr is seeking a native-level Japanese Audio Transcript Editor for AI training. This fully remote, flexible contract role focuses on cleaning up transcripts, ensuring word-level accuracy, timing, and formatting across large datasets.

Youll work asynchronously on transcripts, applying detailed style guidelines and quality checks. The role offers 10–40 hours per week, paid hourly, with ongoing project opportunities in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Japanese with excellent listening comprehension.
• Meticulous attention to detail; you notice subtle errors others miss.
• Strong reading and writing skills in Japanese with kanji/hiragana/katakana.
• Able to follow detailed style guides and formatting rules precisely.
• Independent, reliable, and comfortable working asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Japanese audio and review transcripts for accuracy and completeness.
• Correct transcription errors, missed segments, and punctuation issues.
• Verify and adjust word-level timing to match audio precisely.
• Apply detailed style guidelines consistently across assignments.
• Flag unclear or low-quality audio per project protocols.
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency across large volumes of data.
