Alignerr is seeking English Audio Transcription Specialists for AI Training. This fully remote, hourly contract role involves converting spoken audio into precise, well-formatted text to help AI learn human speech across accents and contexts.

Ideal candidates have native or near-native English, excellent listening and writing skills, and a disciplined, self-driven work approach. Flexible hours 10–40 per week, with asynchronous collaboration and project-based work.

Qualifications

• Native English fluency with excellent listening comprehension.
• Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy at scale.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio recordings in English and produce precise, verbatim transcriptions
• Accurately capture spoken content including natural speech patterns and speaker changes
• Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and spelling according to project guidelines
• Identify and flag unclear, inaudible, or ambiguous audio segments
• Handle diverse audio types — conversations, interviews, lectures, podcasts, customer interactions, etc.
• Review and proofread transcriptions for accuracy and adherence to style guides
• Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule
