Job summary

MicroHealth is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Specialist to support Agile development, modernization, and sustainment of enterprise applications for a federal healthcare client. This remote role requires strong background in SAFe/Agile practices, software engineering, and CI/CD.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions using .NET technologies, REST/SOAP services, and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development and enterprise application support.
• Experience working as a federal contractor or employee required.
• Experience with Jira or a comparable Agile requirements/development management tool.
• Proficiency with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Razor Pages, Web Forms, MVC).

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise software applications using Agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, reliable software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and enterprise software using .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services for system integration.
