Job summary

Planned Systems International (PSI) is seeking an IT Specialist to support VA Benefits and Memorial PMO, developing and sustaining enterprise software in an Agile environment. You will work with Product Owners, developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable software across the full SDLC.

You will contribute to DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, and ongoing modernization initiatives in a complex enterprise setting, while ensuring compliance and secure coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT-related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise Windows server infrastructure and IT operations.
• Experience with .NET technologies across the full SDLC.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe environments and Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and SQL Server databases.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software using Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Develop web apps, APIs, and system integrations with Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Design, develop, and support RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Develop responsive UIs and ensure accessibility and usability.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases and data models.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Perform secure coding and code reviews to support security compliance.
• Troubleshoot defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Support modernization efforts and develop technical documentation.
