Job summary

Bitwarden, a leading identity security company, seeks an experienced Security & IT Generalist for our all-remote team. The role focuses on handling security and IT service desk requests, configuring Atlassian cloud products, and ensuring secure operations across a distributed workforce.

You will report to the Head of Information Security and collaborate with teams globally, aligning with ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience providing security and IT support for a distributed environment.
• Hands-on with Atlassian Cloud products (JIRA, Service Management, Confluence).
• Ability to work across time zones and remote teams.
• Knowledge of security practices for AI systems and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Security and IT related Technical Service Desk tickets
• First touch point for user support
• Assist with access control changes, onboarding automation SCIM, and user provisioning / deprovisioning.
• Strong hands-on expertise with configuring and administering Atlassian cloud products
• Security and IT administrative tasks related to auditing, access management
• Responds to security incidents and investigations
• Assist with secure implementation of AI systems and data
• Investigates SOC/SIEM alerts and network traffic as first level responder
• Developing and maintaining documentation for security systems and procedures
• Administer endpoint protection and related security technologies
• Establish standardized processes for IT services and secure baselines
• Assist with patching and vulnerability management
