Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking an IT Security Administrator to join a remote, nationwide team. You will partner with Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, and Security teams to support audits, collect and validate evidence, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC, and NIST frameworks.

The role focuses on documenting controls, tracking remediation, and maintaining inventories of systems and endpoints while aligning with enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/Cybersecurity.
• Experience supporting technical audits, compliance assessments, or regulatory reviews.
• Knowledge of identity and access management and privileged account handling.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and security control validation.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for internal and external audits and customer reviews.
• Coordinate collection and validation of technical evidence for security controls.
• Maintain knowledge of system architecture, network topology, and security controls.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to obtain audit documentation and evidence.
• Document control implementations and operational procedures for compliance.
• Track audit requests and ensure timely delivery of evidence and remediation documentation.
• Review configurations for regulatory and organizational compliance.
• Support HIPAA, SOC, NIST, CIS Controls, and related assessments.
• Assist with vulnerability management by gathering remediation evidence.
• Maintain inventory documentation for systems and endpoints.
• Develop security policies and control documentation.
• Assist with security incident investigations and evidence collection.
• Develop reports/dashboards on compliance status and remediation.
