Pyramid Consulting, Inc. invites an IT Quality Analyst for a remote role in the United States on a 06+ months contract. The candidate will conduct end-to-end testing across policy lifecycles, validate rules and data, and work within Agile teams to ensure quality across UI, APIs, and databases.

Strong SQL, Postman, and Azure DevOps experience are required. The role requires 7+ years of experience in business system testing, with a focus on insurance policy lifecycle, billing, and payments, and

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
• Experience designing and executing functional, integration, and regression testing for complex business applications, including test scenario and test case development.
• Experience validating application behavior across multiple layers, including UI, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams, including backlog refinement and sprint activities.
• Property & Casualty insurance testing experience preferred, especially Policy Lifecycle, Billing or Payments.
• Experience with Postman, Azure DevOps, cloud technologies, APIs, and database testing.

Aufgaben

• Execute end-to-end testing across the policy lifecycle incidents, including quote, bind, issue, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, reinstatement, rewrite, and servicing.
• Validate underwriting rules, business logic, eligibility, and rating against requirements and state regulations.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and verify processing and data integrity.
• Identify, document, triage, retest, and verify defects using Azure DevOps with collaboration across teams.
• Conduct regression testing to assess impact on existing functionality.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and feature discussions to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Support production releases with validation and post-deployment testing.
• Perform accessibility testing to ensure compliance with standards.
