Job summary

Nutanix seeks a Project Manager to lead medium-risk, complex customer projects around data center modernization and hybrid cloud implementations.

You will partner with customers, consultants, architects, and delivery teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and measurable business outcomes, while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Candidates bring 3+ years of IT project management, PMP, and experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, and enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years project management experience in IT software, professional services or technology delivery.
• Experience leading customer-facing infrastructure, cloud, virtualization and IT transformation projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• PMP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria with customers and stakeholders.
• Establish project governance and controls appropriate to requirements and complexity.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and documentation.
• Coordinate activities across consultants, architects, customer teams, partners, and stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, forecasts, and change requests using PM methodologies.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Monitor progress and drive resolution to protect timelines and quality.
• Facilitate meetings, reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Provide accurate status reporting to customers and leadership.
• Maintain project data and revenue forecasting in systems of record.
• Collaborate with PMO to improve processes, tools, and standards.
• Support pre-sales with planning, estimation, SOW reviews, and risk assessments.
