Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Arlington is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee software, hardware and telecom resource projects for the CAO, ACH, and CCDA. You will guide initiatives from charter to closure within a multi-office environment and partner with executives, technical teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project management concepts and techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reports and meetings.
• Solid meeting facilitation, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Executive administrative skills, budgeting and reporting exposure.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and handle shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Draft project charter with sponsor, SME, stakeholders and tech resources.
• Develop WBS, project plan, stakeholder matrix and communication plans.
• Propose tasks and assignments for internal and external resources.
• Assess project risks and help create mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate status meetings and circulate minutes to attendees.
• Draft communications per plan and prepare status reports.
• Prepare presentation materials for status reviews and deliverables.
