Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst to lead IT GRC programs, policy management, risk assessments, audits, and vendor risk oversight. The role requires hands-on control testing and close collaboration with stakeholders to align IT with business goals.

This contract position offers remote work across US states, with a pay rate of $60–$75 per hour. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in IT policy, GRC, and regulatory compliance, and hold relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT policy, controls, GRC or audit, in a senior role with oversight.
• Hands-on IT governance and regulatory compliance experience across the full policy lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of security policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Perform hands-on control testing and report on information security controls.
• Manage CISO policy framework from creation to committee presentation and end-user training.
