Job summary

Spear AI is hiring a skilled IT Engineer to secure and scale the internal infrastructure powering mission-critical work. This remote US role involves collaborating with the software and services divisions, implementing robust security controls, and ensuring compliance with CMMC 2.0 Level 2 and NIST frameworks.

You’ll administer Google Workspace and SSO, harden cloud and network security, and contribute to infrastructure as code initiatives while supporting national security projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience securing and scaling internal infrastructure.
• Experience with IdP and SSO management across cloud services.
• Familiarity with CMMC/NIST compliance frameworks and related tooling.
• Strong policy development and security auditing capabilities.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS) and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace and manage IdP with SSO configurations.
• Harden AWS IAM, network security, and access controls.
• Develop IaC with Pulumi alongside the infra team.
• Audit and enforce internal security policies and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and services teams to improve security.
