Job summary

Spear AI, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy a cloud-based data management and AI platform for maritime domain awareness.

You will build IaC pipelines, automate CI/CD and DevSecOps, and deploy across AWS and air-gapped environments, with a focus on performance and security. You will work on real-world projects that support national security, collaborating in a flat structure with leadership and teams across hardware, software, and services divisions.

Qualifications

• Expert in infrastructure as code using Pulumi or Terraform.
• Expert in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expert in CI/CD and DevSecOps with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in AWS and/or other cloud services.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Go.
• Proficiency with networking and cybersecurity controls.
• Familiar with IdP like Authentik and Keycloak.
• Experience deploying to air-gapped environments and self-hosting on bare metal.
• TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture.
• Build CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Continuously deploy to AWS cloud and air-gapped environments.
• Monitor applications/services with OpenTelemetry, Sentry, and SigNoz.
• Enforce CMMC compliance policies and rules.
• Manage secrets and configuration.
