Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a DAT Senior Associate to partner with clients and engagement teams to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls related to financial reporting, compliance, and IT. This role supports audits focused on technology controls within public company financial statements and independent assurance work, such as SOC reporting and Agreed Upon Procedures.

Responsibilities include developing audit plans, performing testing, documenting work, and drafting remediation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT controls auditing or related IT controls experience.
• Knowledge of financial reporting risks and IT controls.
• Familiarity with Oracle or SAP, Oracle Database, UNIX/Linux, and security technologies.
• Understanding of COSO, COBIT, and other leading business and IT control frameworks.
• Preferred CPA or CISA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls for financial reporting, compliance, and IT.
• Participate in audits focused on technology controls as part of public company audits.
• Support independent assurance reporting, including SOC reporting and Agreed Upon Procedures.
• Develop audit plans, perform testing, and document work performed.
• Assess control deficiencies, draft remediation recommendations, and contribute to reporting.
