Job summary
NV5 is seeking an experienced IT/ICT and Building Security Systems Designer to deliver design and consulting services for new buildings and major renovations. Qualifications
- 5+ years of consulting experience in IT/ICT building systems design.
- Experience with telecom rooms, structured cabling, and security systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, BlueBeam and related documentation tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of IT/ICT and building security systems for new buildings or renovations.
- Produce construction drawings, cost analyses, and specifications; guide CAD staff.
- Coordinate with MEP, architecture, contractors, and consultants to ensure standards.
- Conduct site walks and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and quality.
