Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Sr. Manager, IT Audit to lead multiple audit teams focused on IT controls, system implementations, and SOX/ICFR work.

The role emphasizes risk-based planning, AI-driven improvements, and strong stakeholder collaboration in a remote setting with preference for candidates near Oklahoma City or Dallas. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in IT audit with 6+ years in leadership, holds a relevant degree and professional certifications, and is willing to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive IT audit experience, including leadership roles
• 6+ years of people leadership experience driving high performance
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred
• Professional certification (CISA, CIA, CPA, CISSP or equivalent) required
• Knowledge of IIA IPPF and risk-based audit methodologies
• Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies in audits
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT, system implementation, and migration audits with quality execution
• Advise leadership on internal audit practices with risk-based considerations
• Drive adoption of AI and other technologies to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency
• Develop risk-based audit plans evaluating IT controls and emerging tech
• Oversee audit teams, provide coaching and ensure quality documentation
• Serve as liaison between Internal Audit and business management
• Partner with management to address observations and action plans
• Finalize audit reports with clarity and objectivity
• Mentor and develop staff through feedback and career support
• Support talent acquisition and recruiting activities
• Contribute to risk assessments and audit planning
• Review testing to ensure workpaper quality and support in Workiva
• Manage resources and workloads to maximize efficiency
