Job summary

The Department of Auditor General (DAG) in Pennsylvania is seeking an IT Auditor 4 to lead and supervise IT audit teams, review controls, and support statewide audits. This remote role includes occasional travel to Harrisburg for in-person training and a starting salary of $78,925.00.

Minimum education requires a relevant bachelor's degree and progressive audit experience; preferred CISA and ACL familiarity is noted. Telework is available with PA-residency and secure home internet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1 year as Auditor 3/IT Auditor 3 or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of accounting/auditing experience, including 1 year supervisory.
• Equivalent combination of education and training in the listed fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit teams and guide staff toward audit goals.
• Assign tasks and monitor progress of audit work.
• Review data analytics, CAATs, and IT control testing for multiple audits.
• Develop approaches for data analytics and CAATs.
• Maintain knowledge of ACL and audit standards.
• Train staff on standards and procedures.
