Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC, a remote-first company, seeks an Internal Audit IT Associate Manager to lead IT and security audits across our global cloud infrastructure, security operations, and crypto-native products. You’ll provide independent assurance on technology and IT governance, translating complex findings into clear insights for senior leadership.

You’ll own audits end-to-end, mentor junior staff, and drive remediation validation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT internal audit or information security audit, with leadership experience.
• Hands-on audit experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), IAM, encryption, logging, and network architecture.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, COBIT, SOC 2 or ITIL; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT and security audits across cloud infrastructure, security operations, and crypto products.
• Mentor junior team members and translate findings for senior leadership.
• Drive remediation validation and tracking of management responses.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and IT leadership to improve controls while preserving independence.
