Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an IT Architect for Digital Commerce to lead design and implementation of scalable web and backend systems. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring secure authentication, and enabling seamless API integrations for web and mobile experiences.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with NodeJS micro-services, JS frameworks, testing tools, and DevOps practices. Telecommuting up to 100% is supported from Bolingbrook, IL area and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related.
• Five years in development experience with Web/UI techs.
• Experience with scalable NodeJS micro-services and multiple JS frameworks.
• Security and authentication best practices (OAuth/SAML).

Responsibilities

• Review, install, and test system software updates and tailor software.
• Design complex systems and ensure integration across technologies.
• Lead portfolio management with governance and reporting.
• Analyze business processes and define requirements for improvements.
• Develop information management policies and support regulatory registrations and communications.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and drive resolution strategies.
• Support CI/CD and DevOps integration; optimize performance issues.
• Collaborate with API teams for web/mobile services.
