Job summary

DELTASOFT SOLUTIONS LLC seeks a remote IT Applications Operations Analyst (junior level) to join the SM OC UIQ analyst team. You will work under direction of a senior analyst, handling basic to intermediate tasks, following Run Books and Playbooks, and escalating complex issues as needed.

The role focuses on analyzing interfaces, diagnosing data faults, maintaining documentation, and providing timely communications with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting applications and infrastructure-application systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes existing SmartMeter application interfaces and tools; prepares logical models and procedures; creates SQL code and scheduling scripts; tests and debugs interfaces and tools.
• Diagnoses, isolates and corrects data and performance faults in the systems involved.
• Prepares and obtains approval of system and development documentation.
• Executes planned and ad-hoc corrective maintenance to sustain continuous system operations.
• Analyses, evaluates, debugs and diagnoses bugs, incidents and exceptions in existing SmartMeter applications, interfaces, processes, and procedures.
• Interact with users, business stakeholders and team members; report progress of requests and incidents.
• Propose enhancements to procedures, processes and tools based on experiences with current methods.
