Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer II for our Hanover, MD position requiring an active TS/SCI with polygraph and U.S. citizenship.

The role focuses on security monitoring, risk assessments, and RMF package management. Ten years of ISSO experience on similar programs is expected, along with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ten years as ISSO on programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• At least two areas: security tools, hardware/software security, protocols, or encryption techniques/tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years extra experience may substitute for degree.

Responsabilités

• Deploy and configure security scanning tools for continuous monitoring.
• Provide analyses of security architecture docs and vulnerability/risk assessments.
• Manage tickets for CM of the information system, firewall implementations, SSP changes, and account management.
• Design and implement Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) to remediate findings.
• Review, prepare, and update ATO packages per NIST RMF and policy.
