Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks a litigation attorney to support counterfeit and intellectual property enforcement matters through the firm’s contract attorney program, DWTSurge. The role is remote with bar admission in the resident state and a state where DWT has an office.

This temporary 6-month contract averages ~30 hours weekly, with potential renewal. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of litigation experience and strong briefing/shaping of complex matters, with flexibility to increase hours

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience in mid-sized or large law firms or with large institutional clients.
• Experience with IP enforcement, consumer protection, counterfeit goods, or unfair competition litigation preferred.
• Residency and bar admission in AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MD, MN, MT, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, DC, or WV and active admission where DWT maintains an office.
• Strong briefing skills and ability to conduct substantive research.

Responsibilities

• Support IP enforcement, consumer protection, and unfair competition matters via DWTSurge.
• Collaborate with DWT attorneys and contract attorneys in a remote setting.
• Adjust hours as needed and align with West Coast business hours.
