Zillow Group’s Legal & Compliance team seeks an Intellectual Property Counsel to serve as the primary in-house patent counsel. You will lead patent strategy, portfolio management, and governance for open-source IP, while guiding inventors through disclosures and coordinating with outside counsel on drafting.

The role requires a J.D. with active bar admission, 4+ years of IP practice in software/AI, and meaningful in-house experience at a tech company.

Formación

• J.D. with active state bar admission.
• 4+ years IP practice experience, with software/AI inventions.
• Meaningful in-house experience at a technology-focused company.
• USPTO registration is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead patent strategy and portfolio management for Zillow Group.
• Oversee open-source governance and IP-adjacent counseling.
• Guide inventors through disclosure processes and collaborate with outside counsel for drafting.
• Advise on AI-enabled product features and data considerations.
