Job summary

Vervint is seeking an IoT Cloud Developer to design, build, and support scalable, cloud-native AWS solutions. You will work on IoT Core-based architectures, serverless apps with Lambda in TypeScript, and data workflows using DynamoDB, Kinesis, and S3.

Bring 3–5+ years in cloud engineering, strong AWS skills, and experience with Terraform or similar tools. Remote 4-month contract with global teams and mentorship responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of cloud engineering, infrastructure, or backend development.
• Strong experience building AWS-based, cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript; Python for automation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-native AWS solutions for scalability.
• Contribute to AWS IoT Core-based architectures and data backend integration.
• Develop serverless apps using AWS Lambda and TypeScript.
• Design DynamoDB data models and event-driven workflows with Kinesis/SNS/S3.
• Guide and mentor other engineers; ensure security and performance.
