Job summary

Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is seeking an IOC Manager in the Office of the Director to support Independent Oversight Committees across regions. The role provides administrative, technical, and liaison support to ensure statutory responsibilities are met and to promote consumer rights.

Responsibilities include coordinating committee meetings, training staff, managing information exchanges with health plans and providers, and advancing quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Three years direct experience in working in or within the behavioral healthcare system in Arizona.
• Experience with project management, data analysis and facilitating trainings and or presentations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in public health, psychology, social work, nursing, law, or a related field.
• Bilingual (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Attends IOC monthly meetings across regions and provides support and education to IOCs.
• Manages IOC inbox and coordinates resolution between IOC, RBHA, DDD, ACC, Health Plans.
• Maintains records for each committee, including letters, reports, and by-laws.
• Provides training and technical assistance on human rights, confidentiality, QM Portal, and related processes.
• Supports QM oversight activities and prepares reports; follows up on action items.
