City National Bank is seeking an Investment Consultant based remotely in Texas to expand our network of Independent Financial Advisors, CPAs, and attorneys referring clients to Rochdale while delivering top-tier investment management services to high-net-worth clients.

The role emphasizes building partnering relationships, presenting sophisticated investment strategies, and generating new assets. Strong communication, travel readiness, and FINRA Series 65/66 eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of financial experience, preferably in Investment Management.
• 2+ years in High Net Worth or Ultra High Net Market segments.
• 2+ years delivering formal client presentations.
• Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.
• FINRA Series 65 (or 66), or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs to increase referrals from Independent Financial Advisors, accounting and law firms.
• Keep partners informed about firm and industry developments.
• Facilitate smooth transitions from sales to portfolio management and client onboarding.
• Coordinate new accounts and account transfers.
• Handle advisor and client communications and prepare presentations.
• Present to centers of influence and in assigned territories.
• Conduct meetings and presentations with prospective clients to generate assets.
• Generate new assets using a consultative sales approach.
