City National Bank is seeking an Investment Consultant to expand and deepen a national network of Independent Financial Advisors, CPAs, and attorneys. You will present to high-net-worth clients, manage relationships, and drive new assets through a professional consultative sales approach.

The role emphasizes travel, meeting schedules, accurate transitions to portfolio management, and ongoing collaboration with investment colleagues across a wide territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of financial experience, preferably in Investment Management.
• 2 years in High Net Worth or Ultra High Net Worth markets.
• 2+ years delivering formal client presentations.
• Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.
• FINRA Series 65 (or 66), or the ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs to increase the network of Independent Financial Advisors, accounting and law firms referring clients.
• Keep Advisors informed about firm and industry developments.
• Ensure smooth transition from sales to portfolio management.
• Facilitate new accounts and transfers.
• Handle Advisor and client communication.
• Prepare client presentations.
• Communicate with centers of influence to align products and services with needs.
• Conduct meetings and presentations in assigned territory.
• Generate new assets using a professional consultative sales approach.
