Job summary

AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to serve as a clinical reviewer for the ECR process. This remote, direct-hire role focuses on certifying cases involving members aged 0–18, evaluating medical records, and delivering evidence-based recommendations.

The physician will document findings, maintain timely records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, compliant reviews within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with current licensure for the applicable jurisdiction.
• Internal Medicine specialty training or clinical experience.
• Able to interpret medical records and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Excellent written communication and clinical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary clinical reviewer and certify cases per the ECR process.
• Review clinical assessments and supporting medical records.
• Consider information provided by the member or healthcare decision-maker.
• Evaluate complex medical conditions and pediatric needs for ages 0–18.
• Synthesize information to develop objective, evidence-based recommendations.
• Document findings and rationales using the Division’s templates.
• Complete assigned case reviews within 48-hour turnaround time.
