AtWork Personnel is seeking Board-Certified Family Medicine Physicians to support the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) ECR process. You will serve as the primary clinical reviewer, evaluating clinical assessments and documentation for ages 0–18 and delivering clear, evidence-based recommendations within tight timelines.

The role requires an MD or DO with Arizona licensure (or the ability to obtain) and board certification in Pediatrics or Family Medicine.

Position Overview

We are seeking Board-CertifiedFamily Medicine Physicians to support the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) ECR process. Physicians will serve as primary clinical reviewers, evaluating clinical assessments and supporting documentation for children and adolescents ages 0–18.This position is ideal for physicians with strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and experience evaluating complex medical, developmental, or behavioral needs. Physicians must be able to synthesize information from multiple sources, develop clear clinical recommendations, and certify assigned cases within required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical assessments, medical records, and supporting documentation for assigned cases.
• Evaluate the medical, developmental, behavioral, and functional needs of children and adolescents ages 0–18.
• Consider information submitted by members and their authorized healthcare decision-makers.
• Develop clear, evidence-based clinical recommendations supported by documented rationale.
• Serve as the primary clinical reviewer and certify assigned cases in accordance with the Division’s ECR process.
• Use designated review templates and follow established documentation procedures.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Experience with complex pediatric medical, developmental, or behavioral needs.
• Background in clinical case review, utilization review, eligibility review, or medical necessity assessment.
• Experience with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
• Familiarity with Arizona DDD programs, policies, and documentation requirements.
