Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to join the Finance team. The role focuses on auditing financial and operational processes, driving risk-based audits, and supporting SOX compliance.

You will mentor staff and help shape the audit program while working with business leaders across the enterprise. The position supports remote candidates in Eastern and Central time zones and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of internal and/or external audit experience.
• Experience auditing financial and operational processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial and operational projects as advisor.
• Help lead, manage and execute audits including risk identification and testing.
• Assist with transition of controls for new acquisitions and business transformations.
• Help develop less experienced staff.
• Assist in risk assessments to create the annual audit plan.
• Communicate audit issues and action plans with the business.
• Lead department initiatives in Data Analytics, Training, DE&I, and career development.
