Job summary

Berks County Intermediate Unit is offering a paid internship to support the coordination of regional events and special projects for the ECYEH program. The role involves helping with digital resources, an online training program for school staff, and creating accessible content according to WCAG guidelines.

The internship is primarily remote, with potential in-person involvement in six counties across Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and some college coursework required.
• Experience with at-risk youth preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a shelter and/or school environment and be a team player.
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and program partners both in person, on the phone, and electronically.
• Communicate regularly with supervisor and team members.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain required documentation.
• Complete applicable training
