Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to design and support Workato-based integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, and other core systems. You will own complex end-to-end integration work, partner with stakeholders, and drive reliable data flows in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement of integration patterns and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise integrations, or automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS tools.
• Strong understanding of streaming patterns, asynchronous processing, and event-driven integration concepts.
• Experience with Kafka and related ecosystem tools for event-based data movement and system integration.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, message queues, ETL/iPaaS tools, and middleware platforms.
• Experience with error handling, debugging, monitoring, and support of production integrations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, ERP, HRIS, finance, or billing platforms.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
• Enthusiastic self-learner who proactively picks up new tools, integration patterns, and business domains with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support Workato recipes and related integrations across systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, and other business applications.
• Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, handle errors/debugging, and improve reliability, observability, and reusability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, communicate trade-offs, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Document integration patterns, templates, and operational procedures to improve team efficiency.
