System Integration Engineer – Workato & Cloud Data

Job summary

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Integration Engineer to plan and execute integrations between our integration platform (Workato preferred) and a wide range of systems.

The role emphasizes thorough documentation and proactive communication with client stakeholders. You will work across REST/SOAP/JSON/XML, manage data transformation, and collaborate with Enterprise Apps teams on QA and end-user documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum of 5 years working with application integrations.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Tray.io.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as DocuSign and Agiloft.
• Familiarity with at least one RPA tool (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Camunda, or similar).
• Background in ETL/ELT and data transformation using platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
• Experience managing Slack bots and APIs.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong SQL skills, proficiency in Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools.
• Comfortable working across integration patterns and formats including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Able to configure, build, test, and deploy integration solutions independently.
• Experience reviewing peer designs, participating in code/config reviews, and partnering with Enterprise Apps teams on QA, test planning, and end-user documentation.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills; able to perform well under pressure and shifting deadlines.
• Sound judgment around security and confidentiality when handling sensitive systems and data.
• Relevant integration certifications are a plus.
