Job summary

somewhere is seeking an Integrations Data Engineer to own how customer data enters the platform and how it is modeled. Working as the backend seat of a two-person integration function, you will build new integrations and ETL pipelines from scratch while tackling the most complex pipeline challenges.

You will partner with a customer-facing data engineer to design robust data solutions, optimize PostgreSQL schemas, and ensure data integrity at scale in a remote LATAM environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in backend or data engineering.
• Strong Python and Django experience.
• Experience building API integrations and ETL pipelines for financial/data.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL data modeling and reconciliation.
• Fluent technical English across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain API integrations and ETL pipelines for customer/financial data.
• Design data models in PostgreSQL for integrity and performance at scale.
• Collaborate with customer-facing data engineer to fix bottlenecks and improve reliability.
