Job summary

Care Lumen is seeking an Integration Manager to lead scalable data exchange across a broad set of systems and vendors. You’ll act as an integration SME, advising on sound architecture and API-first patterns, with deep knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR, and modern REST/API design.

You will influence data owners, security, and product teams to align on data sharing, governance, and timelines, while delivering robust integrations and durable fixes in a remote-first, EST-hours environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in integration engineering or equivalent roles.
• Hands-on HL7 v2 and/or FHIR experience.
• Integration architecture experience with system-to-system patterns.
• Ability to design and implement APIs with documentation and testing tooling.
• Delivery ownership and cross-functional influence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving across distributed systems.
• Excellent written communication of technical specs and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own integration architecture and patterns for scalable, secure data exchange.
• Lead end-to-end integrations from discovery through go-live and support.
• Design and guide APIs, specifications, versioning, and error handling.
• Lead adoption of HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12 standards in designs.
• Influence stakeholders across data owners, security, product, and engineering.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions and present options to executives.
• Establish runbooks, observability, and data reconciliation practices.
• Represent integration status and risks to leadership.
