Job summary

Army National Guard Units is seeking a PRIMARY PREVENTION SPECIALIST to implement and support integrated prevention programs across Wing/Region. The role focuses on preventing harm and abuse using public health informed strategies, coordinating with multiple offices and community partners to advance IPP initiatives.

Responsibilities include leading prevention activities, developing policy, and advising leadership on best practices to increase readiness and resiliency within the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree: behavioral or social science with at least 24 semester hours in behavioral or social sciences.
• Or four years of relevant experience with equivalent major in behavioral or social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for harm and abuse prevention programs and activities.
• Coordinate and assess IPP program activities across Wing/Region.
• Develop Wing/Region policy, plans, and guidance for local P3 operations.
• Provide advisory services and training on prevention efforts to personnel and community partners.
• Communicate prevention issues to stakeholders and the public.
