Job summary

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is seeking an admitted attorney for an Associate Remote Intake Attorney position. You will report to the Supervising Intake Attorney, manage your caseload, communicate with clients, and collaborate with the Immigration Team.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of immigration law experience, are a team player, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and capable of handling family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR, and USCIS applications.

• Monitor case management software for live cases.

We're looking for an admitted attorney, for an extremely promising Associate Remote Intake Attorney position within a premier law firm with a lot of room for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience and further their career with an established firm. As The Associate Attorney, you will report to the Supervising Intake Attorney, you will also manage your caseload, as well as client interaction, and can collaborate with our wonderful Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring firm's case management software for live cases to vet
• Reviewing intake sheets and documents from potential clients
• Identifying potential immigration relief for potential clients
• Suggesting legal strategies and proposed services for potential clients
• Speaking to existing clients regarding potential services outside of their current contract
• Answering legal questions from or explaining legal processes to potential and existing clients
• Communicating with and providing feedback to the sales team meeting with potential clients
• Overseeing intake paralegals and virtual assistants

Qualifications

• At least 2-5 years of Immigration Law Experience
• A team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with your fellow associates
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
• Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
• Record of moving legal cases forward and an ability to manage a caseload
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred
