Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries (ABCFM) is seeking a Remote Insurance Verification and Patient Accounts Specialist. This full-time role supports daily office operations by ensuring insurance accuracy and collecting patient financial responsibilities, all in a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of working remotely, and maintains clear communication with the team to ensure timely reporting and patient service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with computers and electronic reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Review insurance coverage, deductible, co-pays, and patient financial responsibilities.
• Collect patient co-pays, self-pay balances, and applicable deductible amounts.
• Run, review and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.
• Monitor accounts and identify outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
• Maintain consistent communication and availability during regular business hours.
• Complete additional administrative duties as needed.
