Qualifikationen

• Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance products; ideal candidate licensed in Property and Casualty; Life in MN
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Experience with selling and cross-selling insurance products in a community/agency setting preferred

Aufgaben

• Develop knowledge of local agriculture industry and market dynamics for business development opportunities
• Sell insurance products to new customers using consultative techniques
• Cross-sell and coordinate with agency team for additional coverage
• Prospect for new business via leads, calls, networking events, and trade shows
• Prepare quotations and applications and present to close sales
• Comply with underwriting guidelines and seek guidance when needed
• Conduct sales and review appointments with prospective and current customers
• Meet and exceed sales goals
• Develop and maintain agricultural industry contacts to enhance agency visibility
• Participate in events to promote brand awareness and educate consumers
• Retain customers by delivering industry-leading experiences
• Ensure account updates and changes are completed
• Coordinate with agency partners to resolve customer issues
• Continually develop knowledge in insurance concepts, products, underwriting, sales, and supporting technology
• Participate in continuing education and designation programs
• Demonstrate knowledge of insurance concepts and successful agricultural insurance sales experience
• Engage in non-typical schedules and remote work as required
