Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking a Sales Specialist to market, prospect, and sell insurance products within a specialized line. You will maintain relationships, understand client needs, and promote brand through agency and community events.

The role focuses on personal and life lines, achieving sales goals, and cross-selling with an agency team. You will develop local agriculture market knowledge, prepare quotations, deliver presentations, and coordinate with underwriters.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Property/Casualty and Life in MN.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of local agriculture industry for business development opportunities.
• Sell insurance products to new customers using consultative selling techniques.
• Cross-sell and coordinate with agency team for additional coverage.
• Prospect for new business via leads, calls, networking, events, and social networks.
