Job summary

Billyard Insurance Group is seeking a Sales Broker to join our Ontario team. You will generate new business, quote, and secure coverage for personal and commercial lines while leveraging AI-driven tools and a national broker network.

This role offers uncapped commissions, flexible remote work from anywhere in Ontario or in the Welland office, ongoing training, and dedicated support from underwriters and service teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales or a high-performing sales environment.
• Must hold an active RIBO license (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Grow your book of business through digital outreach, referrals, networking, and community engagement.
• Assess client needs and present tailored personal and commercial insurance solutions.
• Provide competitive quotes using rating tools and insurer portals.
• Negotiate with underwriters to balance coverage and pricing.
• Close new business and maintain accurate client records in the broker system.
• Support renewals and adapt coverage as client needs evolve.
• Collaborate with support teams to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
