Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies is seeking a remote sales leader to recruit, onboard, field-train, coach, and manage multiple independent life and P&C agents across Michigan. You will support production growth and profitability within a defined market while partnering with county leadership.

Responsibilities include recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and developing candidate agents, collaborating with the Senior Market Leader, and ensuring adherence to established development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum two to four years of experience in insurance marketing and sales
• Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• FINSECA membership required
• Acquire and maintain a certification in business coaching within 18 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, onboard, field train, coach, and manage multiple independent life and property & casualty insurance agents and agencies.
• Assist the Senior Market Leader in achieving territory, regional, and company-wide objectives for multi-line business plans.
• Recruit agents for net growth and stability in the market territory headcount.
• Engage in all agent recruiting activities for the territory and refine recruiting best practices.
